To celebrate the launch of ESPY’s latest online exhibition, Inner Landscapes by Phrame Collective member, Patricia Ziad, we are pleased that our next talk will be led by members of Phrame Collective. The talk will explore ideas of collectivism and the history of the group, and their hopes and goals surrounding equality and inclusivity. Phrame Collective was co-founded in 2018 by Celia Jackson and Lisa Edgar, with the aim to promote and support emerging female photographers and females working in photography in the South Wales area. Phrame is open to everyone, regardless of age, gender, race, class or creed. The collective offers a warm welcome, shared expertise and energy, and an empowering, inclusive atmosphere to all. Phrame Wales seeks to amplify individuals under-represented in photography in South Wales. Promoting equality, opportunity and excellence in photography, it is led by the concerns, values and vision of its members. Some members of the collective are also currently exhibiting works in Ode to Anna at Llantanarm Grange Arts Centre, a photographic exhibition inspired by the work of Anna Atkins, one of the first female photographers and a pioneer of the cyanotype process. The exhibition is open till the 19th of June. The talk will be led by Molly Caenwyn & Savanna Dumelow Join us through this link.
